The Fiskars Sledge Hammer comes with a hardened, tempered and forged carbon steel head. Rounded edges on the striking surface delay burring and lessen the risk of chipping. A rubber miss-hit guard helps to lessen jarring and potential injuries or strain. The shaft is made of a fibreglass core and features an elastomeric anti-slip and anti-vibration facility ensuring greater resistance and comfort when in full swing.
